Merle Oberon (19. febuar 1911 - 23. novembar 1979) bila je britanska glumica rodom iz Indije, koja je postala slavna zahvaljujući ulozi Anne Boleyn u filmu The Private Life of Henry VIII. Nakon niza zapaženih nastupa u Britaniji, 1930-ih je otišla u Hollywood gdje je snimala filmove za producenta Samuela Goldwyna. Godine 1937. je, nedugo poslije početka snimanja spektakla I, Claudius doživjela strahovitu prometnu nesreću u kojoj joj je trajno unakaženo lice; karijeru je nastavila zahvaljujući korištenju šminke i eksperimentalnih lijekova. Zahvaljujući tome je imala zapažen nastup u filmu Wuthering Heights (1939).

Michael Korda, nećak njenog supruga Alexandera Korde, joj je posvetio roman s ključem pod nazivom Queenie, kasnije adaptiran u TV-miniseriju gdje je njen lik tumačila Mia Sara.
