David Hockney, OM, CH, RA, (9. jul 1937) je engleski crtač, slikar, scenograf i fotograf koji djeluje u Bridlingtonu ( Yorkshire) i Kensingtonu (London).[1]Predstavlja važnog sudionika Pop art pokreta 1960-ih, te se smatra jednim od najuticajnijih britanskih umjetnika 20. vijeka.[2][3] Na njegov opus je snažno uticala sinestezije (neurološki fenomen zbog koga određene boje povezuje s muzikom), kao i homoseksualnost.
