3C 305, also known as IC 1065, is a lenticular galaxy located in the constellation Draco.[3][1][2] It has an active galactic nucleus and is classified both a Seyfert 2 and radio galaxy[1][2] The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis Swift when he came upon it on April 7th, 1888.[4]
